SR high trip to noah’s ark panama city beach, fl —

for rising 9th through 2010 SR’s
july 30 through august 1 / 2

we will stay at noah’s ark, a united methodist retreat on the beach.  this retreat usually includes a mission project; fun in the sun;  walks on the beach; concerts by two-by-two (the band there); a nice dinner out somewhere; group devotions and advice from our seniors, a few tears; plus lots of games, cards, and guitar hero type fun.  the food is always good!  the bunk beds are always a little squeaky, but we stay up late, so it doesn’t matter too much...

we will reluctantly say good-bye to our SR’s and happily welcome our new 9th graders.  those  who just graduated and those who have just turned into seniors for next year are invited to stay an extra night.
NOTE:      we are expecting the beach to be beautiful, and have had a great time in the past even when the seaweed has been there, so we’re not going to let a little (or big) oil spill keep us from going on this great retreat!

forms are available outside the youth office, and scholarships are available.    parents and counselors who are interested in going should contact the youth office so we can work out transportation and chaperone needs.  thanks!
