Rev. Lynn Nesbitt is involved in the teaching of our Confirmation program for sixth grade youth. She coordinates the lessons for the class. Other clergy members on our staff are also involved in facilitating the class some throughout the year, but basically, Lynn tells them what they need to teach! She has many years of experience in the Confirmation process and has led classes in several different UM churches. Throughout the conference, she is known as an expert in this area and we are fortunate to have her!

Lynn grew up in Montgomery, AL. After graduating from Samford University in Birmingham, AL, she attended Candler School of Theology of Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Lynn is known in lots of circles as Leah and David's parents, even though both kids have now graduated from our program! (One is at University of Cincinnati, the other at Georgia Tech).
