Leisa is most commonly known in youth circles as Elizabeth and Catherine's mom! She joined our staff in 2005 to help with general organization, snack supper, youth breakfast and confirmation. But, she has proven to be invaluable in many areas! Leisa is very creative and can make some of the best cookies you've ever tried -- and the lasagna is something of special note too!
Leisa and her family are very active at FUMC through Sunday School, Worship, Acolytes & Servers, United Methodist Women, Meals on Wheels and all of the areas where her three children are involved. Originally from Tuscaloosa; Leisa went to the University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Education. She is married to Jamie and they have three kids are very active through FUMC who are Elizabeth, Catherine, and Christopher. She enjoys camping, stamping and creating cards and other fun things, volunteering with her children, and working out. (Okay, the working out thing is at least something she does... enjoys? maybe!) Oh, and she'd love to help you put together a puzzle, but ONLY if there's a table -- After one of our retreats, you can forget it if it has to be done on the floor! |
